Awesome MACD momentum MT4 Expert advisor

Expert advisor is based on excellent forex strategy. System is conservative, fundamentally sound and therefore robust. Liquidation of winning trade is optimized by using Awesome oscillator closing module. Intelligent trailing stop based on closed candle is applied immediately after entry. How does it work

MACD histogram is used to define the trend and momentum. Position of histogram relative to zero, is considered to determine trend. Histogram bar width must surpass width of the previous bar, to also confirm growing momentum. Awesome oscillator defines momentum, with the focus on the price (good price within trend). Signal candle must meet criteria for candle body width, while surpassing previous H/L with growing volume. Position is closed either using trailing stop or at awesome closing module (opposite awesome signal while position already in defined profit).

Inputs

• MACD signal: We consider MACD histogram only. Histogram bar must close below the zero value for short entry or above the zero value for long entry. Histogram bar must be larger than previous histogram bar.
• Awesome oscillator signal: Awesome histogram closing below zero with last bar closing higher than previous histogram bar – enter long. Awesome histogram closing above zero with last bar closing lower than previous histogram bar – enter short.
• Closing awesome module: Opposite awesome signal for entry occurs, while trend might still last. To close with awesome, position must be in profit defined by profit points for awesome.
• Profit points for awesome: Defines minimum profit points to allow close position on awesome signal reversal.
• Signal candle: Candle with defined body range (min/max) closing in the direction of trend (defined by filter). Candle must surpass previous low/high in the direction of trend.
• Volumes: Volumes on signal candle must be greater than on previous candle.
• Universal trailing stop (Extra deviation for the trail stop). Based on last closed candle high for short trade and candle low for long trades. Extra deviation can be applied to put TS further away from the entry. TS will be adjusted with each consecutive candle close, only in the direction of winning trade.
• MAX number of trades (1 in test): Expert advisor can work with more than one trade opened per side. This parameter will modify number of trades that can be opened per side at the same time.
• MAX slippage: Modify maximum acceptable slippage for expert advisor to enter the trade.
• Spread filter: Define maximum acceptable spread for expert advisor to enter the trade.
• Lot size: Define the lot size for each trade executed by the expert advisor.

SELL:

1. MACD histogram closing below zero. MACD Histogram bar on closed signal candle closing lower than previous candle.
2. Signal: Bearish candle with defined body range. Awesome bar closing above zero, while closing lower than previous histogram bar.
3. Volumes on signal candle are larger than on previous closed candle.
4. We enter the trade on new candle open.
5. Trailing stop is placed on last closed candle high + extra deviation for TS above.
6. Position is closed either by awesome closing module or with trailing stop.

BUY:

1. MACD histogram closing above zero. MACD Histogram bar on closed signal candle closing higher than previous candle.
2. Signal: Bullish candle with defined body range. Awesome bar closing below zero, while closing higher than previous histogram bar.
3. Volumes on signal candle are larger than on previous closed candle.
4. We enter the trade on new candle open.
5. Trailing stop is placed on last closed candle low - extra deviation for TS below.
6. Position is closed either by awesome closing module or with trailing stop.
